The Freizeit-Ticket OÖ is your day travel card for all regional public transport in Upper Austria. Train, bus, tram – enjoy the versatility of this ticket and decide for yourself which means of transport you want to use to get around. You can use all regional connections* in Upper Austria all day long and combine them however you like.

* ÖBB local and regional trains (suburban railway of Upper Austria, local train, regional express), Stern & Hafferl local trains (LILO, Atterseebahn,Traunseetram, Vorchdorferbahn), OÖVV regional buses (also valid on Salzburg and Styria transport network routes), all urban transport

For the year of the Capital of Culture, not only has the price been reduced, the area in which the ticket is valid has been significantly expanded. In 2024, the Freizeit-Ticket OÖ is valid throughout Salzkammergut as well as in some areas in Salzburg and Styria.

The Freizeit-Ticket OÖ is the first day network ticket for local public transport in Upper Austria. It allows you to discover the whole of Upper Austria by public transport alone, as a couple or with the whole family. Up to two adults and four children under the age of 15 can travel for €19.90 for a day by bus and train through the entire Upper Austrian public transport network and the entire Salzkammergut region, which spans several federal states.

Included in the ticket:

• Up to 2 adults and 4 children/young people under the age of 15. However, the ticket can also be used alone or as a couple.
• All journeys in one day: Mon.-Fri. from 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. the following day and Sat., Sun., public holidays all day until 3 a.m. the following day
• All public transport 
  • ÖBB local and regional trains (suburban railway of Upper Austria, local train, regional express), Stern & Hafferl local trains (LILO, Atterseebahn, Traunseetram, Vorchdorferbahn)
  • OÖVV regional buses (also valid on Salzburg and Styria transport network routes)
  • All urban transport
• Area of validity: OÖ network and all of Salzkammergut across all states (Upper Austria, Salzburg and Styria)

Not included in the ticket:

Long-distance trains (InterCity-Express, InterCity, EuroCity, EuroNight, D-Zug, Railjet, Railjet Express, Nightjet, Westbahn) and the Pöstlingbergbahn in Linz

Points of sale:

OÖVV app, OÖVV regional buses, ticket machines for LINZ AG ROUTES and Wels routes, in all ÖBB sales channels and from Stern & Hafferl

In 2024, the Freizeit-Ticket OÖ is valid throughout Salzkammergut as well as in some areas in Salzburg and Styria.
