Duo takes over management of OÖ Verkehrsholding and sets the course for the future of public transport in Upper Austria

The province of Upper Austria and OÖ Verkehrsholding GmbH are setting the course for the future. Since 1 October, Sonja Wiesholzer and Klaus Wimmer have been managing the business and will in future unite the two regional companies, OÖ Verkehrsverbund Gesellschaft and Schiene OÖ, under the umbrella of OÖ Verkehrsholding. For the first time, the new management team will consist of a dual leadership. Sonja Wiesholzer takes over the position of the new technical managing director, while Klaus Wimmer takes over the commercial management of OÖ Verkehrsholding. They succeed Herbert Kubasta, who is reaching retirement age after more than 34 years in the public sector, including almost 20 years as Managing Director of OÖ Verkehrsholding, and is leaving OÖ Verkehrsholding.
