Once again this year, numerous cities, municipalities and regions are taking part in European Mobility Week to promote the mobility transition and sensitise the population to climate-friendly, alternative mobility. The aim is to sensitise citizens to climate-friendly mobility and raise awareness of important issues such as public transport. To this end, various campaigns are being organised throughout Upper Austria to inform the population about alternative, environmentally friendly means of transport and invite them to try them out.
Together with the municipalities of Braunau, Vöcklabruck, Attnang-Puchheim, Redlham and Regau as well as Traun, Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Ried im Innkreis and Thalheim bei Wels, the Upper Austrian Transport Association is offering free rides on the respective city and town buses for one week (excluding Linz, Steyr and Wels). In addition, the Upper Austrian Transport Association will also be represented with information stands in Leonding (21 September), Thalheim bei Wels (21 September) and Steyr (also 21 September) to inform, educate and actively seek dialogue with the population. There will also be a chance to win a KlimaTicket OÖ Gesamt exclusively at the Upper Austrian Transport Association stands - and with a bit of luck.
The Upper Austrian Transport Association would like to invite citizens to get on board and try it out.
