Opening hours (from 27 July 2026)
The Upper Austrian Transport Association’s customer centre is relocating to the Linz bus terminal on 27 July 2026, bringing it even closer to those who travel by bus, train and tram every day. The move became necessary due to a long-term construction project by LINZ STROM GAS WÄRME GmbH directly in the entrance area of the previous customer centre. With the new location in Upper Austria’s largest bus terminal, in-person customer service will be further expanded: customers will benefit from even better accessibility by public transport, modern, accessible service areas and extended opening hours.
“An efficient public transport system requires not only a good range of services by rail and road, but also modern, easily accessible service points. The relocation of the OÖVV Customer Centre to the Linz Bus Terminal will further strengthen direct access to public transport. This will particularly benefit commuters, working people and anyone who needs quick and straightforward information about their travel options,” said Günther Steinkellner, Regional Councillor for Mobility and Infrastructure.
By moving to the Linz Bus Terminal, the Upper Austrian Transport Association is sending a clear signal of its commitment to service: in future, advice and information will be provided right where many passengers arrive, change services or continue their journeys every day. The immediate proximity to transport hubs means more spontaneous interactions, shorter distances and even more direct access to personalised support regarding timetables, tickets and transport services within the Upper Austrian Transport Association.
The new premises, covering just under 100 square metres, provide space for the customer centre as well as a back-office area. A total of twelve workstations are available. The bright, contemporary customer centre is designed to meet modern technical and safety requirements, thus providing the ideal conditions for high-quality customer advice and efficient internal processes.
Extended opening hours and accessible design
Particular attention has been paid to ensuring the design is as accessible as possible: a tactile paving system, accessible counters and a clearly laid-out space make it easier to find your way around and use the customer centre. The move also brings with it a reorganisation of opening hours. In future, the OÖVV Customer Centre will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 to 18:00, and on Wednesdays and Fridays from 09:00 to 14:00.
The fact that the centre is open continuously without a lunch break, combined with the extended opening hours on several weekdays, is particularly appealing to working people and customers with busy schedules, who will now be able to sort out their enquiries in person even later in the afternoon. “With the new Customer Centre at the Linz bus terminal, we are moving even closer to our passengers. In future, face-to-face advice will be available right where mobility is part of everyday life – centrally located, easily accessible and in a modern setting. The new premises and the extended opening hours are an important step towards further improving the service we provide to our customers,” says Klaus Wimmer, Managing Director of OÖ Verkehrsverbund Gesellschaft.
