The fools are on the loose! The highlight of this year's carnival season is the provincial carnival parade on 2 March 2025, which attracts carnival fans from all over Upper Austria to Vorchdorf with over 100 creative groups and a varied supporting programme.
Free arrival and departure
To ensure that visitors can enjoy the largest carnival parade in Upper Austria without any restrictions, a significantly extended special timetable is offered for the Traunseetram and the Vorchdorferbahn. From 10:00 a.m. until the end of operations , journeys are also free of charge. This means that nothing stands in the way of a public journey to and from the 5th season!
