KlimaTicket OÖ was launched on 26 October 2021. Almost three years later, more than 40,500 customers now benefit from unlimited access to the extensive range of public transport services throughout the province, with or without core zones as required, with just one ticket, simply and inexpensively. Around 52 per cent have a KlimaTicket OÖ Regional, which allows them to use all public transport in Upper Austria - with the exception of city transport in Linz, Wels and Steyr. 30 per cent of all tickets are issued with a discount, primarily for young passengers under 26 years of age. In addition, there are around 54,900 Upper Austrians who have a KlimaTicket Ö. This means that more than 95,400 Upper Austrians are currently travelling cheaply and environmentally friendly with one of the KlimaTicket variants.
