Which ticket do dogs need?

1. If you want to take a dog with you on public transport, you must put a lead and a muzzle on it.
   
2. You also need a half-fare ticket for your dog.
   
3. Since 1 January 2023, holders of annual tickets, KlimaTickets (KlimaTicket Upper Austria and KlimaTicket Austria) and monthly tickets have been entitled to take a large dog with them free of charge (for unsuitable containers). This does not apply to long-distance rail transport.
   
4. Small, non-dangerous animals in suitable, closed containers and labelled assistance dogs are transported free of charge.
