Route-based monthly travelcards are season tickets. They are valid from the day of issue until 23:59 on the day preceding the date of the following month (e.g. from 7 May to 6 June). The period of validity of route-based monthly tickets purchased on the first day of a month ends on the last day of the same month (e.g. 28 February, 31 May, 30 June) at 23:59. The selected route can be travelled in both directions (e.g. from Linz to Wels and also from Wels to Linz).
