On 5 and 6 September 2026, the market square in Windhaag near Freistadt will be transformed into a hub for arts and crafts from the Mühlviertel and South Bohemia. Around 90 exhibitors will be showcasing handmade products made from leather, glass, wood, fabric, stone and much more. Visitors can watch the craftspeople at work and look forward to culinary treats, music, a morning pint, pony rides and a big raffle. Admission is free.
The OÖVV is ensuring easy access by extending the existing service on bus route 327 between Freistadt and Windhaag bei Freistadt.
The Saturday market is open from 11:00 to 18:00, and the Sunday market from 10:00 to 17:00.
