The Donauuferbahn takes you easily to the centre of Grein. From here, you can reach the start of the "Kreuzner Donaublickrunde".
The "Kreuzner Donaublickrunde" is just under 16.8 kilometres long and leads north through the Lettental valley into the hills of the Mühlviertel to the Klamblick rest area and on to Bad Kreuzen. From there it is only a short distance to Kreuzen Castle. The route then continues through the gorge to Wolfsschlucht.
Back in Grein, you can enjoy a delicious ice cream at the Schörgi patisserie before taking the train home again.
