In Upper Austria, there are numerous destinations that are easily accessible by public transport – and with the Upper Austria Family Card and the Upper Austria Transport Association, travel is for free on the Family Public Transport Days. With the freeFreizeit-Ticket OÖ on 5, 6, 19 or 20 September 2026, families can travel for free on regional and city transport.
The ticket, which is free for the duration of the Family Public Transport Days, is available at familienkarte.at and can be accessed by entering your Family Card number.
It can be redeemed once on any of the four promotional days in conjunction with the Upper Austria Family Card.
It pays to be quick – the allocation is limited to 1,500 Upper Austrian leisure tickets per day!
