The Grünberg high above the town of Gmunden offers a top-class nature experience. The Grünberg-Flitzer summer toboggan run, the Salzkammergut treetop path, an adventure playground with a low ropes course, a total of 20 kilometres of hiking trails and the Laudachsee, a mountain lake that invites you to relax, await you. The offer is rounded off with signposted cycle paths and a paragliding launch site.
The regional train and the Traunseetram take you comfortably and without traffic jams to the Seebahnhof in Gmunden. From there you can reach the valley station of the Grünberg cable car after a 450 metre walk. Alternatively, you can also take the regional bus directly to the "Gmunden Grünbergseilbahn" stop. From there, the valley station is only 140 metres away.
Ticket tip: With the Traunseetram combi-ticket , you can take the Traunseetram from Vorchdorf or Gmunden directly to the Grünberg cable car (stop "Gmunden Seebahnhof") and then take the cable car up the Grünberg - fantastic views included. The Traunseetram combined ticket is available with or without the treetop walk. You can find out more about the combined ticket at gruenberg.info.
