There is a steep piece of history to discover in Gramastetten. From Linz, take the regional bus via Pöstlingberg and Lichtenberg to the "Gramastetten Ort" stop. You can access the Jahresstiege via a circular route (forest path).
The staircase originally has 365 steps - one for each day. The steep hike offers many resting places and natural beauties that are waiting to be discovered. Once you reach the viewing platform at the top, you have a fantastic view of the Jahresstiege with its terraces, the Mühlviertel hills and the ruins of Lichtenhag Castle, all the way to the Alps.
