Steyr is rich in culture, industry, nature and architecture. The Steyr and Enns rivers flow into each other in this historic town, giving the old town a special flair.
Once you arrive at the town square, you can admire the magnificent rococo town hall and the Gothic "Bummerlhaus". Afterwards, there is an exciting exhibition in the "Innerberger Stadel", which is dedicated to the composer Bruckner. Another attraction is the Detective Trail Steyr. For 15 euros per family, you get a treasure map. Tricky puzzles guide you through the streets and alleyways. At the end, a little surprise awaits the young detectives. At the end of an exciting day, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mouth of the Steyr and Enns rivers at the FH Campus and dip your feet in the water to cool off.
The city is easy to reach by regional train and bus. The Steyrer Linien city buses operate within the city.
