Everything compact via smartphone: From today, all newly purchased or extended KlimaTickets OÖ valid from 1 September 2025 will also be available completely digitally in addition to the plastic card. From this date, it will also be possible to start the validity period of the annual pass on any day, which was previously only possible on the first day of the month.
With the OÖVV ticket app, OÖVV single, daily, weekly and monthly tickets and ÖBB tickets have already been available digitally for almost a year. Now the regional KlimaTicket OÖ variants are also being technically updated. At the same time, new fare conditions apply to the KlimaTicket OÖ. A major change to the fare conditions is the option to choose the start date regardless of the first day of the month. Previously, the term of the annual network ticket could only begin on the first day of a month. In future, you will be able to determine the start of validity of your KlimaTicket OÖ yourself and will no longer be tied to the beginning of the month. The new fare regulations and adjustments for the digital KlimaTicket OÖ variants only apply to newly purchased or extended KlimaTickets OÖ valid from 1 September 2025. The previous fare regulations remain valid for existing KlimaTicket OÖ holders.

New chatbot for improved customer service
The new AI-supported OÖVV chatbot will provide information about these and other OÖVV innovations in future. Integrated into the OÖVV website, the chatbot can already respond in several languages. The AI is constantly learning and will therefore continue to significantly improve OÖVV customer service. The OÖVV chatbot accesses a broad knowledge base, including information from websites such as ooevv.at, schiene-ooe.at, wegfinder, klimaticket.at or mobil-ans-ziel.at as well as the entire internal knowledge database including the general terms and conditions and fare regulations. The integration into the internal customer enquiry system enables a seamless transfer of chats to the OÖVV customer centre, ensuring fast and efficient processing of customer enquiries.
