Exchange students staying with a host family and attending an Upper Austrian school are only entitled to a Youth Ticket Network. Non-EU citizens must upload a confirmation of the exchange programme instead of the family allowance receipt (tax office).
What products do exchange students receive?
Youth Ticket Network:
With the Youth Ticket Network, pupils can travel from their place of residence to school and also benefit from the following advantages:
- valid throughout Upper Austria
- any number of journeys on all OÖVV lines in the Upper Austrian network area
- valid every day
- valid during holidays and for leisure trips
- always valid from 1 September for 13 months
Info on the ordering process:
When applying online, select the "exchange student" education type.
When ordering, the order code is required as confirmation of school attendance.
Pupils will receive this from their school.
The validity of the student ticket is automatically transferred from the order code for the school year.
