How can I reclaim the deductible?

The excess only has to be paid once per pupil and school year or once per apprentice and apprenticeship year. If the excess has been paid more than once, e.g. to two transport associations, then the excess can be reclaimed once. The excess is paid by the apprentice to the transport association in whose area the training centre attended is located. For example, if your child attends a school in Salzburg, the excess can be reclaimed from OÖVV.

You can reclaim the deductible using the form. You can find the reclaim form on our website. Print out the form, fill it in completely, sign it by hand and then send it to the OÖVV with the necessary proof of payment. Please note that a handwritten signature is required on the form. Alternatively, we also accept citizen card/mobile phone signatures on the PDF applications. You can find more information on this at www.buergerkarte.at.
